In our hotel kitchen we serve primarily fresh regional products. Much of what you will find on the plates and bowls, comes from the hotels own garden, be it our homemade breakfast jams or our delicious crispy dinner salads.
Our breakfast is an extended breakfast buffet with fresh fruit salad, diverse egg dishes, muesli, fresh grain mash, bread, cheese and cold meats, homemade jams and cakes - a good basis for the start of any day. The fresh bread comes from a bakery in the proximity of Calheta and they have long been aware that many of our Central European guest enjoy more than just white bread.
Our highly popular hotel restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner.
On our menu you will find the highlights of the Madeiran cuisine, especially fresh fish. Our local cooks prepare these typical dishes and they are very tempting. However, we also offer delicious international dishes for tired hikers who would prefer a cool beer and a mouth watering Schnitzel without experimenting the local cuisine.
Each and every day there is also a vegetarian dish on the menu.
